It is very important to share with you my experience of meeting Jean Maurie. From the first time I met her (on the phone) I had a sense of comfort from her kind words of wisdom. I wanted to believe there was a silver lining to the black cloud I was under ... I was just out of a break-up and lonely, plus I was working a dead-end job that paid next to nothing. Broke and alone. It doesn't get worse than that.
